The name Failaka is taken from the famous historical island in the State of Kuwait. The owner, Mrs. Filomena Fernandes and her family who returned home during the invasion of Kuwait in 1990 decided to pay a tribute to the country she lived by dedicating this name. Synonymous with Goa as a holiday destination, Failaka island is frequented by tourists and locals for holidays and at weekends.
The hotel commenced in the year 1995 and has been in operation since, catering to visitors in the region and beyond.
